Who is Akcent?

Why this song works for the trend
The clip is short, so the music does a lot of the work:
- It makes the video recognizable. People know which trend it is as soon as they hear the song.
- It matches the mood. An upbeat dance-pop track over tired friends at a gas station is exactly the kind of contrast that makes the clip funny.
- It ties every remake together. Faces and outfits change from video to video, but the song stays the same, so every remake still reads as the same trend.
How to use the sound when you post
When you post your own gas station dance, the sound matters for discovery as much as for the vibe:
- On TikTok and Instagram Reels, open any gas station dance video, tap the sound name at the bottom and choose to use it. Your video then shows up on that sound's page next to everyone else's remakes.
- Keep the original timing. The remakes follow the original clip, so the cuts and the music line up the same way. If you film it yourself, record to the song instead of adding it afterwards.
- If you use an AI generator, check whether the song is included. Videos from our generator come with the original song already in place, so you can post the MP4 as it is.
One note: platforms sometimes mute or limit videos that carry copyrighted music as part of the uploaded file. If that happens, attach the platform's official sound for the song instead.
